ALLE VOLTE LE informazioni che girano, e mica solo su Internet, sono un po' furbette. Si era per esempio detto nei giorni scorsi che Ryanair fosse sull'orlo del fallimento causa innalzamento dei prezzi del petrolio (con il vecchio ragionamento da old-company: "Lo dicevo io che con i biglietti praticamente regalati non potevano che fallire, prima o poi"). Poi, a parte che si abbassa il prezzo del petrolio (e causerà un altro tipo di problemi perché farà ripartire il dollaro, ma questa è un'altra storia), c'è da dire che Ryanair scommette sul futuro preparandosi a comprare nuovi aerei e soprattutto dice questo:
DUBLIN, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Ryanair will be one of the few European carriers to at least break even this winter, though it could still make a small full-year loss, Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said on Wednesday.
"We will be one of the very few airlines in Europe to grow strongly this winter and at least to break even if not to make a small profit," O'Leary said in an interview with BBC television.
Europe's largest low-cost carrier said in late July it expected a full-year result between breakeven and a loss of 60 million euros (ê89.86 million) on the basis of its existing fuel hedges, fourth-quarter oil prices estimated at around 130 euro per barrel and average fares falling by 5 percent.
